Linda Owens: Conway

1945 – 2026

     Linda Owens of Conway passed away Friday, Aug. 28, at Conway Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.

     Mrs. Owens was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Willie Lewis and Beulah Ammons Lee.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Owens was predeceased by her husband, Thomas V. “Buddy” Owens; one brother, Elton Lewis Lee; and a sister, Veda Ann Lee.

     Survivors include one son, Tony Owens of Conway; a daughter, Amy Hewitt of Loris; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and other extended family.

     Family planned to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

     A graveside service was planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Skipper officiating.
