Ernest Kevin Suggs, Sr.: Loris

1956 – 2026

     Ernest Kevin Suggs, Sr. of Loris passed away on Friday, Aug. 28, at McLeod Seacoast. He was 69.

     Born Dec. 20, 1956, in Conway, he was the son of the late Spurgeon Suggs and the late Leona Leigh Suggs.

     Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Suggs; a son, Ernest “Kevin” Suggs, Jr.; daughters Tonya Wells and April Suggs Sims; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Suggs, Sr. was predeceased by his son, Josh Suggs; and his brother, Earl Suggs.

     Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.1, at Hardwick Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Mt. Leon Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Bell officiating, committal services following at Mt. Leon Cemetery.

     Family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Leon Baptist Church Angel Fund, 9801 Hwy 905 South, Longs, SC 29568.
