Dakota Will Hammonds: Tabor City

1998 – 2023

     Dakota Will Hammonds of Tabor City died Monday, Aug. 7. He was 24.

     Born Aug. 17, 1998 in Horry County, he was the son of Robert Will Hammonds, Sr. (Melanie) of Chadbourn and Regina Earl Norris of Tabor City.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Carter Will Hammonds of Chadbourn; and three brothers, Robert “Teg” Hammonds (Crystal), Taylor Gray Hammonds (DeAnna), and Dusty Duncan, all of Tabor City; a nephew, Devin Hammonds; and one niece, Emory Hammonds.

     He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Tiffany and Nancy Hammonds; and maternal grandparents, Earl Norris and Cecile Bailey.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, in Columbus Memorial Park.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service at the gravesite.
