Mary Judith Harrison Spivey: Tabor City

1944 – 2023

     Mary Judith Harrison Spivey of Tabor City died Sunday, Aug. 27, in Shoreland Health Care, Whiteville. She was 79.

     Born April 11, 1944 in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Harrison and Annie Leola Baines Harrison and the widow of Earl Dale Spivey.

     She is survived by two sisters, Joyce Elaine Harrison Ganus and Teresa Loueva Harrison, both of Portsmouth, Virginia.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Earl Dale Spivey, Jr.; and three brothers, Raymond Allen Harrison, Joseph Harvey Harrison, and Sidney Fred Harrison.

     Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
