Kitty Jo Norris: Tabor City

1946 – 2024

     Kitty Jo Norris of Tabor City died Monday, Feb. 26, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Center, Whiteville. She was 78.

     She was the daughter of the late Clyde Manning and Mae Anderson Manning Grainger.

     She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Michelle Norris.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Mitchell “Joe” Norris; three brothers, Leon Manning, JC Manning, and Waylon Manning; and a sister, Hazel Manning Jacobs.

     Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned following the service in the cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Emmanuel Holiness Church 310N. Wall St. Tabor City, NC 28463.
