Easter egg hunts across Columbus County last weekend, including this one at Tabor City School, brought plenty of fun for children, smiles for many like “Lucky Egg” finder Roberht Hill in the age 8-12 division, and served as a prelude for the holiday this weekend. Included in the group photo were Hill, age 4-7 winner Jaliza Wade, standing behind the “D”, and her brother 0-3 winner Jovan Wade, who was held by Makynlynn Cox, behind the bunny ears. Co-sponsored by Columbus County Parks & Recreation and the Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce, the TC event included a bubble machine for some extra fun. Some athletic prowess was on display as one young man tossed an egg high before catching it in his bucket. Friendships and sharing were also easy to see. (Deuce Niven, TLT)
