Jeanette Josephine Livingston: Tabor City

1940 – 2026

     Jeanette Josephine Livingston of Tabor City passed away on Monday, April 27, in McLeod Seacoast hospital, Littler River. She was 85.

     Born June 18, 1940 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Archie McCoy Norris and Zellie Nobles Norris.

     She is survived by one son, Winfread Livingston (Debbie) of Tabor City; three daughters, Sarah Kenney (Mark) of Tabor City, Karen Combs (Billy) of Aynor, and Sherry Mincey (Dale) of Tabor City; three brothers, Rev. Hollon Norris (Shelby), Rev. Steward Norris, and Casey Norris (Lori), all of Tabor City; three sisters, Alene Tyler (Jack) of Tabor City, Priscilla Mills of Whiteville, and Hattie Todd of Conway; eleven grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Livingston; two brothers, Felton Norris, and David Lee Norris; three sisters, Alice Cockerham, Faye Booth, Eleanor Cottom; one grandson, JR Kenney; a great grandchild, Angel Cartrette; and one great-great grandchild, Ryland Cartrette.

     Family would like to especially thank Enjouli and Erin with McLeod Comfort Care for their kindness, compassion and care during this difficult time.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
