Michael Dennis Matsik, Jr.: Loris

1941 – 2026

     Michael Dennis Matsik, Jr. of Loris passed away on Saturday, April 25, in McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee. He was 84.

     Born Dec. 16, 1941, in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Michael Charles Matsik and the late Edith M. Pugh.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Connie Matsik; sons Mark Sell and Matthew Sell; step-son Troy Tack; step-daughter Tammy Burgess; a sister, Elaine DeSanto; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other extended family.

     Memorial services were to be private.

     Family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, SC 38105.
