Ricky Wayne Fowler: Loris

1953 – 2026

     Ricky Wayne Fowler of Loris died on Thursday, April 30, in his home. He was 72.

     Born July 6, 1953 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Lomon Fowler and Lucille Jordan Fowler.

     He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Gore and Karen Stevens (David) of Loris; two sisters, Judy Nance of Clarendon and Lynn Foster of Charlotte; one grandson, Travis Brown (Kelsey) of Loris; two great grandchildren, Asher Brown and Luna Brown; and son in-law Randy Brown of Loris, SC.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katie Jane Graham Fowler; one daughter, Sharon Brown; a granddaughter, Erica Gore; three brothers, Horace Jordan, Billy Joe Jordan, Larry Fowler; and two sisters, Jennie Fowler, Jeanette Williamson.

     Graveside services were planned for 10 a.m. Monday, May 4, in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
