Jeanette Hinson McPherson: Chadbourn

1946 – 2026

     Jeanette Hinson McPherson of Chadbourn died Friday, May 22, in her home. She was 79.

     Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Ashley Hinson and Mary Soles Hinson.

     She is survived by three sons, Avery McPherson (Tiffany), Jerome McPherson, Richard McPherson (Theresa); a brother, Scott Hinson (Wanda); grandchildren Austen Symes, Britney McPherson, Kori McPherson, Logan McPherson, Hannah McPherson, Kolby McPherson; great grandchildren Harley McPherson, Jaydon McPherson, Peyton McPherson, Graydon McPherson, and Tatum Pittman; and great-great granddaughter Adleigh English.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Horace McPherson; brothers Charles Hinson, Johnny Hinson, Ray Hinson, Wayne Hinson; nephew Wayne Hinson Jr.; and grandson, Jason McPherson.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
