Willard Ray “Bud” Cox, Jr.: Conway

1963 – 2026

     Willard Ray “Bud” Cox, Jr. of Conway passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Regency Hospital in Florence. He was 63.

     Born April 22, 1963, in Charleston, he was the son of Mr. Willard Ray Cox, Sr. and Mrs. Sherrie Lou Chase Cox.

     Mr. Cox served his country with courage, honor, and dignity as a military police officer in the United States Air Force. He was a proud member of Loris Lodge #205 A.F.M.

     In addition to his parents he is survived by his sons, Richard Allen Cox and Christopher Lee Cox; sisters Kathy Cox Steinberger and Lynn Cox Higgs; a brother, Steve Guldeman; and other extended family.

     Mr. Cox was predeceased by his wife, Teresa Gail Sublet Cox.

     Memorial services will be private.
