Avery Junior McPherson: Chadbourn

1977 – 2026

     Avery Junior McPherson of Chadbourn passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. He was 49.

     Born Jan. 29, 1977 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Odell McPherson and Jeanette Hinson McPherson.

     He is survived by one son, Logan McPherson of Chadbourn; a daughter, Hannah McPherson of Chadbourn; two brothers, Richard McPherson (Theresa) and Jerome McPherson of Chadbourn; fiancée Tiffany Blair Hilburn Nance; and several nieces and nephews.

     Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, burial following in McPherson Cemetery.
