John Daniel Griffin: Clarendon

    John Daniel Griffin of the Clarendon community died Sunday, Dec. 2 at Mcleod Loris hospital. He was 50.
    Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Leroy Griffin and Margaret Todd.
    He is survived by his wife, Beverly Gore-Griffin; three daughters, Antoinette Gaddy of Carryville, Fla., Tilia Brown of Baltimore, Md., and Ciera Gore of  the home; two sons, Jonathan J. Green and Xavier B. Green of Kingsport, Tenn.; four step-sons, Larry D. Green of Kingsport, Tenn., Jonathan Gore of Whiteville, Donavan Gore and Dion Gore of Green Sea; his mother, Margaret Todd of Clarendon; two brothers, L. Bernard Griffin of Raleigh and Robert P. Griffin of Fort Hood, Texas.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Westside Funeral Chapel, Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Williams Township School, 10400 James B. White Hwy., S., Whiteville conducted by Donald M. Todd, Sr. Interment will follow in Flag Patch Cemetery, Loris.
