Allie Mae Redwine Watts: Nakina
Allie Mae Redwine Watts of Nakina died Tuesday, Dec. 25 in Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Whiteville. She was 91.
Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late George A. Redwine and Ruth Conner Redwine Davis.
Mrs. Watts was the widow of the late Kirby Franklin Watts Sr.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Faye Watts and two brothers G.A. Redwine and Henry Redwine; one sister, Kartherine Redwine Smith.
She is survived by six daughters: Retha Watts Presley of Indian Trail, Elaine Watts Nix, Erma Watts Billings, and Sylvia Watts Warren, all of Charlotte, Pamela Watts Ward of Whiteville, Carol Watts Ray of Lake Waccamaw; two sons, Kirby Franklin Watts Jr. of Nakina and Robert Wayne Watts of Nakina; one sister, Mary Lou Lanier of Clarkton; one brother, Arthur Redwine of Hallsboro; Two half brothers, Charles Davis of Whiteville and Earl Davis of Holden Beach; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 in the Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for noon Friday, Dec. 28 in the Nakina Baptist Church with burial in the Watts Cemetery, Nakina.
