Shirley Virginia Calhoun: Loris

     Shirley Virginia Calhoun of Woodlawn Drive, Loris, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her residence. She was 76.
     Mrs. Calhoun was born in Swanton, MD, a daughter of the late Charles Edward Lewis and Marion Louise Herman Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Hugh Calhoun, Sr.; and a brother, Roger Lewis.
     Surviving are five sons, Chris Calhoun of Loris, Rick Calhoun of Columbia, Don Calhoun of Myrtle Beach, Wade Calhoun and Jerry Calhoun of Washington, NC; five sisters, June Schleig, Jean Fluharty Louise Standish, Faye Kirby and Carol Sue Revoir; one brother, Charles Edward Lewis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     A graveside service was planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Lakeside Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Hord officiating.
