Betty J. Hardee: Tabor City

     Betty J. Hardee passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, at McLeod Loris. She was 71.
     Mrs. Hardee was born in Elizabeth City, a daughter of the late William and Lucy Herman Jennings.  She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Tabor City.
     Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Hardee of Tabor City; a daughter, Jessica White of Loris; a brother, Junior Jennings of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Doris Trueblood of Elizabeth City; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel, with Rev. Clifford Strickland officiating.  Burial followed in the Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
