Wade Clifton Gray: Chadbourn

     Wade Clifton “Dusty” Gray Sr.  of Chadbourn died Saturday, Jan. 19, in  Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. He was 51.
     Born in Mullins he was the son of Allie Faye Cartrette and the late Wade “WG” Gray.  
    He is survived by his wife Deborah Faye Huggins Gray of Chadbourn; four daughters:  Essie Smith and Hope Beasley both of Tabor City, Rebecca Price of Evergreen, and Misty Keisler of Clarendon; two sons:  Wade Clifton Gray, Jr., and Bobby Gray, both of Chadbourn; six sisters: Cordelia Jones, Angie Gray, Debra Cartrette Burr, Jonna Cartrette Byars and Crystal Cartrette Cain, all of Chadbourn and Geraldine Jackson of Mullins; one brother Darrell Gray of Canada; and 19 grandchildren.  
    He was preceded in death by two brothers:  Pete Gray and Harland “Hank” Gray and one son Paul Gray.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 in  Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m.  Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. John McPherson. Burial was to follow in Ward’s Station Church of God Cemetery.
