Earl Monroe Cribb: Tabor City

    Earl Monroe Cribb of Tabor City passed away Sunday, Feb. 24 at his home following an extended illness. He was 84.
      Born on May 18, 1928, in Loris, he was the son of Mr. Joseph Franklin Cribb and Mrs. Josie Lee McPherson Cribb.
    Mr. Cribb was a member of Emerson Freewill Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Mary Pearl Martin Cribb of the home; two daughters, Patricia Ann Phipps of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Sherry Cribb of Tabor City; three brothers, William Jasper Cribb and Charles Ray Cribb both of Wisconsin and Paul Cribb of Illinois;  five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
    In addition to his parents, Mr. Cribb was predeceased by one daughter, Brenda Lee Cribb Schulz; five brothers, Kermit Odell Cribb, Franklin Cribb, Wallace Cribb, Joseph Cribb and Lee Cribb and one grandchild.
     Visitation was planned from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.
    Graveside services were planned for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Twin City Memorial Gardens with Reverend Hollon Norris officiating.
