John Marvin Rabon: Loris
John Marvin Rabon or Loris passed away Monday, April 29. He was 68.
Mr. Rabon was born in Loris, a son of the late Don Rabon and the late Eula Mae Hinson Rabon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Rabon was a graduate of Green Sea High School and spent his life farming.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Milligan and Edna Blanton, and one brother, Edward Rabon.
Survivors include one son, John Matthew Rabon of the home; two daughters, Amanda Floyd of Green Sea and Rachel Meadows of Loris; three sisters, Ernestine Boone of Conway, Bobbie Jean Black of Charleston, and Shirley Hodges of Loris; one brother, Paul Rabon of Conway; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. Burial, with military honors, was to follow in the Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
