Edison Ford Fowler: Fayetteville

Edison Ford Fowler of Fayetteville, passed away at Village Green Rehab, Sunday, June 2. He was 81.
Mr. Fowler served our country for 26 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he began his career as a successful real estate broker. His favorite activities included golfing, fishing, bowling, and talking to people—he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by parents, Murray and Derotha Fowler; and brothers, Dale and Eldon Fowler.
Left to cherish his memories are wife, Fay Long Fowler of Fayetteville; son, Gergory F. Fowler of Hope Mills; son, Wyatt C. Fowler and wife, Renita of Charlotte; six grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Danny Fowler of Tabor City; sister, Mary Jo Small of Tabor City; and sister, Hilda Nealy of Charlotte.
Funeral services will were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at Reeves Funeral Home Chapel, Hope Mills..
He was to be laid to rest in Lafayette Memorial Park West.
