Christopher Cary Stevens: Loris

1983 – 2017

    Christopher Cary Stevens of Loris, age 34, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19 at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 34.
     Mr. Stevens was born on Jan. 2, 1983 in Myrtle Beach, a son of the late Homer Pressley Stevens
    Mr. Stevens was a carpenter, a member of Grace Tabernacle Church, and dearly loved his children and family.
     Survivors include his mother, Cathy Grainger English and step-father, Wayne of Loris; grandmother, Mildred C. Stevens of Conway; son, Blade Stevens of Marion; daughter, Kenley Stevens of Loris; brother, Adam Stevens and Kim Strickland of Green Sea; sister, Cierra Stevens of Conway, and nephews, Joel and Reid Stevens of Conway.
     In addition to his father, Mr. Stevens was predeceased by one daughter, Skye Stevens; paternal grandfather, Jack Stevens and maternal grandparents, Harvey and Rena Grainger.
     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at Grace Tabernacle Church with Reverend David Watts and Reverend Judy Johnson officiating. Committal services were to follow at Stevens Cemetery.
