Dorothy Buffkin: Nichols

1936 – 2017

     Dorothy Buffkin of Nichols age 81 died Wednesday May 17, in her home surrounded by family.  She was 81.
Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of Dalton Graham and Letha Todd.
     She was the widow of Alton Buffkin.
     She is survived by two sons, Tony Buffkin of Loris, and Ray Buffkin of Aynor; two daughters, Dorothy Gail Cribb of Nichols, and Ann Dorman of Galivants Ferry; one brother, Gary Hedwin of Thomasville; one sister, Bonnie Hedwin of Tabor City; nine grandchildren and 14 great grand-children.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, and four brothers.
     Visitation were planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 18, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, May 19, in Gapway Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.
