Patrick Dain Lovette: Tabor City

1980 – 2024

     Patrick Dain Lovette of Tabor City died Thursday, May 23, in Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington. He was 43.

     Born in Columbus County, he was the son Myra Daye Hinson and the late George David Lovette Sr.

     In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters; Skyla Lovette Mayo of Whiteville and Taegan Lovette of Tabor City; a brother, Cecil Justin Lovette of Caledonia, Mississippi; one granddaughter; two nephews and a niece.

     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, George David Lovette Jr.; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

     Patrick donated his kidneys to help save two lives.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Wright Cemetery on Minos Meares Road, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
