John Emil Dobransky: Loris

1955 – 2025

     John Emil Dobransky of Loris passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.

     Born June 11, 1955, in Yonkers, New York, he was the son of the late Emil G. Dobransky and the late Margaret Oates Dobransky.

     Survivors include his loving wife of seven years, Janice Dobransky; sons James Dobransky and Jesse Dobransky; a brother, William Dobransky; one sister, Susan Schwenk; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Dobransky was predeceased by his sister, Jeanne Dobransky.

     A Funeral Mass was planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Catholic Church of the Resurrection with Father Francis officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Hardwick Funeral Home with a vigil prayer service beginning at 5 p.m. at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel.

     Family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
