Mary Pinson McQueen Brogdon: Loris

1946 – 2025

     Mary Pinson McQueen Brogdon of Loris passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, at her home. She was 79.

     Born Oct. 1, 1946, in Mullins, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Harrelson McQueen, Sr. and the late Mary Pinson McQueen.

     Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas “Tommy” H. Brogdon, Jr.; daughters, Lori Suggs and Renee Soles; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brogdon was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Harrelson McQueen, Jr.; and sisters Agnes Gertrude McQueen Lee, and Jean McQueen Cox.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Loris First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dr. Tim Osment officiating. Private committal services were planned at Twin City Memorial Gardens.

     Family planned to receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m., prior to the Nov. 13 services, at Loris First Presbyterian Church.
