Robert “Bobby” Douglas Pait, Sr.: Whiteville

     Robert “Bobby” Douglas Pait, Sr. of Whiteville died Tuesday, January 8 at his home. He was 67.
     Born May 4, 1945, Mr. Pait is the son of Frank Pait and Eva Bounds Pait.
    Mr. Pait was a DJ at WTAB radio station in Tabor City where he was known for his gospel show.
    Mr. Pait was preceded in death by his father.
    Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Ward (Rodrick Locklear) of Lumberton, and Allison Ray of Hallsboro; one son, Robbie Pait of Whiteville; one brother, Frankie Pait  of North Wilksboro;  and two grandchildren.
     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at McKenzie Mortuary in Whiteville.
     The funeral was planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Billy Roy officiating. Burial was to follow in Flynn Cemetery.
