Entries sought for Yam Fest logo contest

    New T-shirts and other memorabilia are coming to the 31st Annual North Carolina Yam Festival at Tabor City this year, and area artists are invited to make their mark.
    Festival leaders are looking for a new logo for this year’s festival. Artists of all ages are invited to submit designs no later than Friday, June 10. As a reward, the winning artist will be given two tickets to this year’s Taste of Tabor evening, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20.
