Harriet V. Johnson: Whiteville

1957 – 2022

     Harriet V. Johnson of Whiteville passed away Wednesday, April 13, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was 64.

     She was born Nov. 12, 1957, in Conway, a daughter of the late Harry Vernon and Violet Dolores (Cribb) Long.

     Survivors include her children, Tracy Morgan of Whiteville and James Allen Johnson, Jr of Little River; brothers Donnie Long of Sanford and Kevin Long of Conway; a sister, Rosemary Johnson of Aynor; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

     A memorial service was planned for 4 p.m. Friday, April 15, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Cartrette officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
