Taunya Starr Lowe Norris: Tabor City

1957 – 2022

     Taunya Starr Lowe Norris of Tabor City passed away on Wednesday, May 11, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 64.

     Taunya was born July 5, 1957, to the late Johnny Thurman and Saundra Amerylis Reavis Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Dewey Norris; her daughter, Teva M. Norris; and a brother, Mark Anthony Lowe.

     Mrs. Norris is survived by siblings Randon Paul Lowe of Lakeland, Florida and Teresa Michelle Foley of Loris; and two grandchildren.

     A graveside service commemorating Taunya and her daughter, Teva’s life, was planned for 3 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Norris Cemetery, with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating.

     Visitation was planned from 1 to 2:30 p.m., preceding the graveside service, at Worthington Funeral Home.
