Richard J. Faircloth: Tabor City
1960 – 2022
Richard J. “Ricky” Faircloth of Tabor City passed away Friday, Sept. 16, at his home. He was 62.
He was born Sept. 15, 1960, in Loris, a son of Virginia (Jones) Brown and the late Samuel Joseph Faircloth.
He is survived his mother, Virginia J. Brown of Whiteville; four sons, Russell Sarvis of Loris, Derrick Sarvis of Whiteville, Ricky J. Faircloth, Jr. of Aiken, and Zack Faircloth of Loris; four daughters, Karen Elvis of Loris, Kimmie Williams of Aiken, Shanea Chester of Loris, and Nikki Huggins of Loris; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Brown of Whiteville, and Dennis Todd of Clarendon; two sisters, Wanda Stevens of Whiteville and Rhonda Anthony of Asheboro; and his girlfriend, Tammy Price of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Joseph Faircloth; and two brothers, Winfred Todd, and Joey Faircloth.
A graveside funeral service was planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, in Powell Cemetery, Tabor City.
Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service at the cemetery.
