Kathy Sue Taylor Brust: Green Sea

1969 – 2022

     Kathy Sue Taylor Brust of Green Sea died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at her home. She was 53.

     She was a native of the Orrum community, born to the late George Franklin Taylor and Minnie Leigh Britt Taylor in Robeson County on March 16, 1969. She was employed by the Public Schools of Robeson County and was teaching at Orrum Middle School.

     She was also the wife of Green Sea Baptist Church pastor Rev. Charles Brust.

     Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Kaitlin Brust Strickland and her husband A.J. of Fair Bluff; a son, John-Franklin Taylor Brust of the home; a granddaughter; an aunt; two cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

     Funeral services were planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Broad Ridge Baptist Church in Orrum, burial following in the church cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends beginning at 11 a.m., preceding services, at the church; and at other times at 166 George Enzor Drive, Fair Bluff.
