Frankie James Lewis: Little River
1952 – 2022
Frankie James Lewis passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5, at his home in Little River following an illness. He was 69.
Born Nov. 19, 1952, in Loris, he was the son of the late James Ivory Lewis, and the late Mildred Elizabeth Nealey Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nina Kaye Lewis of the home; two daughters, Tena Lewis and fiancé Karuna Pillay and Laney Iglesias and husband Jaime, all of Little River; five grandchildren, Saul Iglesias, Matthew Jacob Murphy, Gabriel Iglesias, Seth Murphy, and Jonathan Iglesias; two great granddaughters, Ariela and Makayla Iglesias; brother, Richard D. Lewis and wife Susan of Asheboro; and a sister, Shirley Lewis Suggs of Little River.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis was predeceased by one grandson, Taylor Selensky.
Graveside services were planned for noon Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Lewis Family Cemetery in Little River with Richard Lewis officiating.
Family planned to receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
