Joy Michelle Chaney: Tabor City

1974 – 2022

     Joy Michelle Chaney of Tabor City died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022 in the McLeod Loris hospital. She was 47.

     Born Dec. 20, 1974 in Bladen County, she was the daughter of Edward Steve Tyndall of Bolivia and the late Barbara Kaye Brisson.

     In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, James David Chaney of the home; two daughter, Kayla Hope Tyndall of Raleigh and Olivia Faith Tyndall of Tabor City; two sons, Ronald Holmes Stewart of Tabor City and Steven Michael Stewart of Whiteville; a sister, Emily Nicole Tyndall of Elizabethtown; and four grandchildren.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
