Darrell Keith Floyd: Loris

1955 – 2023

     Darrell Keith Floyd of Loris passed away on Thursday, Jan. 12, at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 67.

     Born May 21, 1955 in Loris, he was the son of the late Wilbur E. Floyd and the late Bonnie Faye Roberts Floyd. Mr. Floyd served his county working as an Horry County Police Officer until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith

     Survivors include his wife, Debbie Floyd; four children, Darris Floyd (Keyna) of Tabor City, Kodey Floyd (Cayla) of Conway, Kolby Floyd of Longs, and Carley Zeglin (Matthew) of Aynor; and six grandchildren, Aidan Floyd, Mason Zeglin, Addie Floyd, Dylan Floyd, Heidi Monroe Zeglin, and one grandchild on the way.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was predeceased by his two sisters, Delilah Eaddy and baby Eugenia Floyd.

     A memorial visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel.
