Lester Haldean Inman: Loris
1953 – 2023
Lester Haldean “Dean” Inman of Loris passed away on Friday, April 14, at MUSC in Charleston. He was 69.
Born Sept. 30, 1953 in Conway, he was the son of the late George Lester Inman and the late Cecil Ward Inman.
Mr. Inman owned and operated Inman’s Muffler Shop in Loris and was a longtime member of Live Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lois Blanton Inman of the home; two daughters, Julie Harrell (Brad) of Loris and Angela Inman of Myrtle Beach; a grandson, Scotty Harrell (Adrianna) of Loris; one great-granddaughter on the way, Oaklynn Grace Harrell; three brothers, Billy Joe Inman (Reva) of Wilmington, George Milton Inman of Little River, and Louie Inman (Tina) of Shallotte; and three sisters, Judy Floyd (Edward) of Shallotte, Mary Lou Singletary (Weldon) of Whiteville, and Betty Reynolds of Leland.
Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.
Graveside services were planned at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Pleasant Plain Cemetery with Reverend Alvin Jackson and Reverend Steve Noble officiating.
