Sharen Gwen Buffkin Brown: Loris

1968 – 2023

     Sharen Gwen Buffkin Brown of Loris passed away peacefully in her home after a brief illness, Saturday, June 17. She was 55.

     Sharen Gwen Buffkin was born Feb. 13, 1968 to Katie and Carlyle Buffkin. Although her time with her biological father was cut short when he passed away during her early years, Sharen was blessed with the love and care of another father figure, Ricky Fowler, the man who raised her and supported her.

     Sharen was the loving wife of Randy Brown, mother of Travis Brown (Kelsey) and grandmother of Asher Brown and Luna Brown. Sharen was blessed with two sisters, Teresa Gore, and her twin Karen Stevens (David).

     Sharen was predeceased by her father, Carlyle Buffkin; niece Erica Gore; and father in-law Charlie Brown.

     Funeral services will be private.
