Lucille Cox Fowler: Tabor City

1930 – 2023

     Lucille Cox Fowler of Tabor City died Saturday, July 1, in her home. She was 92.

     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Belton and Luttie Small Cox. She was the widow of the late Columbus O’ “Bobby” Fowler Jr..

     She is survived by one son, Darrell Fowler and wife April of Lillington; a daughter, Cynthia Renee Fowler and husband Randy of Garner; one sister, Ronnie Gail Cox of Loris; five grandchildren, Justin Fowler and wife Alisha, Allison F. Gentle and husband Cliff, Kevin Fowler and wife Morgan, Houston Fowler, and Hamilton Fowler.

     She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Roe Cox; and one brother, David Eason Cox.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, in St. Paul Methodist Church Tabor City, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the church.
