Carlton Monroe “Buddy” Fonvielle: Tabor City

Carlton Monroe “Buddy” Fonvielle of Tabor City died Saturday, July 15, in McLeod Seacoast hospital, Little River. He was 77.
Born in Marion County, he was the son of the late Leon Fonvielle and Mary Lou Blanton Fonvielle.
He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Fonvielle Miller and husband Warren of Tabor City; a son, Carlton Hunter Fonvielle and wife Monica of Tabor City; five grandchildren, Matthew Miller and wife Kayla, Mason Miller and fiancée, Amber Leonard, Gracelyn Fonvielle, Zach Fonvielle, Caleb Fonvielle and wife Layla; four great-grandchildren, Marlee Long, Easton Fonvielle, Everleigh Kate Miller, Mattocks Wayne Miller; and special family friend Mickey Watts of Concord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Wynn Kelly Fonvielle; and two brothers, Russell Fonvielle and Leon Edward Fonvielle.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the chapel.
