Barbara Duncan McPherson: Tabor City

1948 – 2023

     Barbara Duncan McPherson of Tabor City died Tuesday, July 18. She was 75.

     Born March 14, 1948 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Ratchford Duncan and Lela Fowler Duncan.

     She is survived by her husband, Mitchell D. McPherson; three sisters, Lois Cox of Asheville, Hilda Strickland and Linda Worley of Tabor City; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Willard Duncan.

Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
