Carl Dean Lewis Jr.: Loris

1969 – 2013

     Carl Dean Lewis Jr. of Loris, lovingly known as Dean, passed away unexpectedly on July 12. He was 53.

     Dean is survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie Lilly Lewis; daughters Destiny Taylor Lewis and Nikki Dean Lewis; a son, Harley Dean Lewis; his mother, Ida “Patsy” Lewis; a sister, Patricia “Patty” Cook; and other extended family.

     He was predeceased by his father, Carl Dean Lewis Sr.; a son, Chumlee Dean Lewis; and other extended family.

     Dean was born in Loris on Sept. 21, 1969.

     A graveside service was planned for 5 p.m. Monday, July 24, at Stevens Cemetery, Cane Branch Road, Loris.

     Family planned to welcome friends from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 24, at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Loris; and following the graveside service at the home of Destiny Taylor Lewis, 251 Sweetbay Magnolia Street, Loris.
