Agnes Strickland Soles: Tabor City

1928 – 2023

     Agnes Strickland Soles died Friday, July 21, in her daughter’s home in Tabor City. She was 94.

     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Carlton Floyd Strickland and Ruby Jane Edwards Strickland.

     She is survived by one son, Danny Soles and wife Theresa of Hope Mills; two daughters, Penny Hinson and Vickie Lovett Tabor City; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

     In addition to her husband, Joshua Soles, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Soles; a daughter, Cathy Strickland; one brother, Paul Strickland; two sisters, Nedra Hardee and Ruby Lee Watts; and one grandson.

     Family planned to receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 24, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Graveside services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, July 24, in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
