Betty Ann Watts: Tabor City

1947 – 2023

     Betty Ann Watts of Tabor City died Saturday, July 22, in her home. She was 76.

     Born in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Blount and Polly Barnes Blount.

     She is survived by one daughter, Heather Renee Norris (John) of Tabor City; two grandchildren, Trevor Norris (Anna) and Madison Norris (Matt Garrell); two great-grandchildren, Kayson Norris and Demi Norris.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levy “Ham” Watts; one daughter, Laure Ann Watts; a brother, Jerry Blount; and three sisters, Willie Mae Garrett, Mollie Blount, Frances Griffin.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 24, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
