Donna Lynn Fowler Owens: Loris

1959 – 2023

     Donna Lynn Fowler Owens of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 64.

     Born Sept. 2, 1959, in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Warren Fowler, and the late Rosie Ella Causey Fowler. Mrs. Fowler worked with CVS and was of the Baptist faith.

     Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, David Curtis Owens, Sr.; four children, Deanna Owens (David Owens, Jr.), Tabatha Blackburn (Kyle), Ashley Owens, and Chase Poore; two sisters, Bonnell Norris (Ronald) and Willa Ree Rabon (W.E. Spivey); a brother, Eldred Fowler; and many loving grandchildren and extended family members.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Owens was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Gene Fowler and Edward Fowler; and a sister, Rose Marie Buffkin.

     Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Key officiating. Committal services followed at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
