Louis Earl Causey: Tabor City

1946 – 2023

     Louis Earl Causey, age 76, of Tabor City died Saturday, Oct. 28, in his home. He was 76.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Austin and Frances Causey. He was a member of Tabor City Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country.

     He is survived by one son, Kenneth Earl Causey and wife Brandy of Goldsboro; a daughter, Kimberly Marchais and husband Guy of Longs; one brother, Dennis Causey and wife Hilda of Loris; two sisters, Judy Ray of Conway and Mary Caines of Loris; four grandchildren, Kaylyn Causey, Brayden Causey, Bryson Causey, and Greyson Causey; and several special nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Small Causey; four brothers, Alton Causey, Bill Causey, Phillip Causey, and Joe Causey; and three sisters, Doris Beaty, Carolyn Holmes, and Janice Turner.

     Funeral services were planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned during the hour preceding services in the chapel.

     Graveside services with military honors were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
