Randy D. Chestnut, Sr.: Conway

1963 – 2023

     Randy D. Chestnut, Sr. of Conway passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 14. He was 59.

     Randy was born in Loris, a son of the late John Thelton and Hazel Chestnut. He was retired from the Horry County Police Department.

     Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Billie Chestnut of Conway; one son, Randy D. Chestnut, Jr. of Conway; a daughter, Kayla Chestnut Strickland of Aynor; four grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Chestnut Mishoe of Loris and Debbie Bargiol of Conway; and other extended family.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Rehoboth Community Church Cemetery (formerly Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery), 2775 Barnhill Road, Galivants Ferry, with Rev. David Watts and Rev. Steve Cashion officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service at the graveside.
