Geraldine Fidler: Oak Island

1934 – 2023

     Geraldine Fidler of Oak Island died Monday, Dec. 25, in Southport Health and Rehab She was 89.

     Born Dec. 23, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Elmer Dillon and Rosetta Chase Dillon and the widow of Carlton Julius Fidler.

     She is survived by two sons, Carlton David Fidler of Tabor City and Gregory Bruce Fidler and wife Becky of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Susan Willetts and husband Jerry of Winnabow; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Unckel of South Hampton, Pennsylvania.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters.

     Services will be private.
