Wendy Boyd: North Myrtle Beach

1948 – 2023

     Wendy Boyd of North Myrtle Beach wife of John B. Boyd, departed this earth and entered into eternal rest with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was 75.

     Born May 18, 1948 in Loris, she was the daughter of the late W. L. “Willie” Hickman and the late Barbara Roupp Hickman.

     In addition to her parents, Wendy was predeceased by her brother, “Corky” Hickman.

     Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years John B. Boyd; children, Ben Boyd of New York City, New York and Laura Nobles of Tabor City; three grandchildren; and a sister-in-law.

     Family planned to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Loris First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dewayne Nobles and Rev. Roger Carr, a committal service following at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
