Maurice Bryan Graham: Loris
1928 – 2024
Maurice “Pop” Bryan Graham of Loris passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, at McLeod Seacoast in Little River. He was 95.
Born April 7, 1928, in Loris, he was the son of the late James Quincy Graham, Sr., and the late Janie Morisey Graham.
He served his country with courage and honor for 26 years in the United States Army until his retirement. After his military service, he worked for the City of Loris. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Laverne Graham; two sons, Michael Graham (Metisa) and Mitchell Graham (Susan); four stepchildren, Robin Buffkin (Dale), Debbie Caines (Jerry), Wayne Rogers (Karen), and Wesley Rogers (Cheri); grandchild, Shawn Michael Graham; and a great-grandchild, Evan Graham.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Graham was predeceased by three siblings, James Quincy Graham, Jr., Marion Graham Gerald, and Joan Graham Taylor.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Terry Porter officiating, committal services with military honors following at Patterson Cemetery.
Family planned to receive friends during the 90-minutes preceding services in the chapel.
