Pauline Soles Watts: Loris
1934 – 2024
Pauline Soles Watts of Loris, wife of the late William Grady Watts, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14. She was 89.
Mrs. Watts was born in Loris, a daughter of the late Forrest Covell and Iola Fisher Soles.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Covell Soles; and two sisters, Shirley Reaves and Beatrice Caulder.
Surviving are two daughters, Wilma Hodge of Loris and MeLisa D. Utter of Ash; two sons, William D. Watts of Calabash and David G. Watts of Loris; three sisters, Peggy Porter of Trinity, Jackie Mierjeski of Archdale, and Ernestine Norris of Loris; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Family planned to receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel, from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Robert Nealey and Rev. Roger Porter officiating, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
