James Lawrence Lemonds: Tabor City

1953 – 2024

     James “Jim” Lawrence Lemonds of Tabor City died Thursday, March 28, in McLeod Loris hospital. He was 70.

     Born Aug. 28, 1953 in High Point, he was the son of the late Ica Crockhan Lemonds.

     He is survived by his wife, Robin Buffkin Lemonds of the home; four children, Holly Strickland, Brooklyn Strickland, and Jerod Strickland of Tabor City, and Nick Lemonds of Louisiana; and seven grandchildren.

     In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” Lemonds.

     Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. No other services will be held.
